Hi, I've seen this mentioned way back, but maybe now someone might know a solution. This game can't boot with add-ons. It white screens and makes a horrible screeching noise. I've tried both US and EURO copies that work elsewhere.

Any solutions?

I'm googling this for some time now and couldn't find an issue like this. My Omega arrived today, i've tested it with three consoles: GBA SP-001, modded GBA(101 mod) and old DS Lite. It worked fine on all three. Updated my kernel beforehand. But, while plugging it into GC GBA player it goes directly to safe mode everytime. Says it can't find loader. Returns errors shown on pictures. Tried three different microsd cards, didn't work. If it changes anything Gamecube is an NTSC-J Spicy Orange...

I am the proud owner of a Joey Joebags, and I've been buying some bootleg cartridges for reflashing. My ultimate goal is to be able to flash a Mother 3 cartridge. In case you didn't know, Mother 3's ROM is 32 MB, whereas a majority of GBA cartridges only support 16 MB. So I've been buying carts from different vendors on AliExpress, hoping to come across one that happens to be 32MB. I'm on cartridge number 4 at this point, and no luck yet. I can flash smaller ROMs just fine, but I really want...

Hello everybody,

As the title states, I'm very new to the concept of GBA flashcarts, and I just have some questions that will hopefully be very easily answered.

  • What, in your opinion, is the best GBA flashcart if I wanted to have access to multiplayer?
  • Will that flashcart be able to connect to a GCN with, for example, Gale of Darkness?
    • as a side note, if it can, can it also connect to ROMs of these games?
  • Are there significant Pros and Cons to being...

Some people here have created custom themes and firmware for the ez flash. Some claim to have updated gameboy emulator versions, others fix bugs and crashing and even claim battery performance tweaks. So I am wondering, what is the general consensus best of the pack. I always used the default latest ez flash firmware but after I lost all my gamesaves which prevented me from loading new games with no save states created I heard that potentially some of these custom firmwares fix this issue I...

Test version updates very frequently, it will add new functions, quick fix of known issues. But it may be unstable with unknown bugs. It is not suitable for beginners.

Flashing Bootleg GBA Cart with NDS?

Hey all. I recently remembered that I own a bootleg copy of Pokémon Fire Red, and I heard that these bootleg carts are easy to re-flash with stuff like the Joey Joebags. That got me to thinking, though, and I'm wondering if it is at all possible to use NDS homebrew to flash a bootleg cart in the GBA slot.

Ez-Flash JR Folder Issues

Yesterday i was able to have GB and GBC on my root with 4 sub folders in each. I had an issue with the sd which corrupted a folder. I changed SD and now only 2 of my folders showing up, no matter what? Not really sure why i'm unable to get the other 2 folders to show up anymore. It always the same 2 that show up, and 2 that don't. Latest firmware and kernel.

GBA X5 Mini: Red Screen

I just received the GBA X5 Mini today, and I'm having trouble getting the thing to load successfully. After the Nintendo logo, the screen displays just red.

I've tried a 2GB microSD that is normally in an EZ-Flash IV, and a 64GB microSDHC UHS-1 but without any difference. It does the same thing without a card in it at all too.

Lookin for help figuring out if I need to format the cards in any special manner, or if it should boot without a card in it at all? It didn't come with instructions...

A couple of days ago I discovered that from the 6 GBA games I owned for almost 15 years 4 were actually bootlegs!!! I was angry, frustrated, and ashamed that I had not discovered this in all these years. Is it possible that the 5 second delay when saving can eventually be overcome by a future firmware patch?

I just ordered an EZ Flash Omega, but the possibility of the whole thing being corrupted so easily makes me a little reluctant to want to actually use it.

Single-Pak multiplayer on GBA with EZ Flash IV

I tried to play single pak multiplayer on 2 GBA systems using EZ flash IV cartrigde, but almost all games showed error message after downloading on GBA without cartrigde. Only one game has worker - Rayman 3. Maybe more of games could work, but i hasn't tested them because they are not interesting for me. Maybe someone know about how play Single Pak multiplayer on EZ flash IV in all games? And if somebody wonder now: is Multi Pak multiplayer working - Yes, it's working with all games.

EZ Flash IV patching problem...

Hello!

First off, i got EZ Flash IV (mini SD card version, white one), and im using latest kernel v2.050
I have this problem where Metroid Zero mission Freezes on last cutscene where Samus leaves space pirate mothership. The game freezes at that point.
I figured out its because the EZ patches the game with sleep patch automatically.
I like that patch, its usefull, but i dont want it if the game doesnt like it. IS there any way i cay exclude it from certain games?

The EZ-FLASH Junior is not working with the GBC clone GB Boy Colour unfortunately. (microsd initial error)

I flashed it with the newest firmware (FW3).

Any chance that it will work in future?

I got an extra flash Omega about 3 weeks ago and at first it worked great.

But in the last week I've had the "error 4" 4 times now. I put the memory card in the PC, run chkdsk and delete the files, then make a new saves folder.

I realize the first time was because I shut it off too quickly. But I was playing baldurs gate and let my character stand still for 10 seconds, shut it off, then turned it back on after another 10-20 seconds, and error 4 appears.

I really have no idea how to...
