Ez flash JR - RealTimeSave support?

As i already own a DIY Jack flashcart for GB/GBC games, the only reason for me getting a EZ-Flash Junior would be a working RealTimeSave (savestate) function. As i dont care for RealTimeClock or features like "instant load" - waiting 5 seconds for a game to load is accetable, in my opinion.

And the DIY Jack also support cheats, which the JR dosen't at the moment, as far as i know. The only thing i'am missing is, that DIY Jack dosen't have a soft-reset function, but... ok.

Does anyone know...

This a tech demo only used to show the browse speed which can be archived. Does not represent the final state of the kernel.

EZ Flash JR RTC jumps 2 years after every save/load in Prism 229

Everything seemed fine while playing Prism build 229 for the first time, but then I notice the clock keeps going up by 2 years+ every time I save, poweroff, power on, "backup" (copy SRAM to SD?), and start the game. I see there is now build 235. Still, 229 ram fine in emulators....

First test was 2020, second was 2022, third 2024. It isn't exactly 2 years and there is no way to tell what the time of day will be or the day of the week when you start playing. I just got this thing and...

transfer save files EZ junior PC emul?

Hello.

Is it possible to transfer save files EZ junior <-> PC emul?
Recently, I lost my DQM1 save file. So i want to back up my save files to PC

1. OK with save files PC emul(VBA-M)
2. NOT working save files(from PC emul) in EZ junior

Is there any solution?

EZ Flash Omega Showing Only Weird Files

I followed the setup instructions on the EZ Flash website, but the only thing that comes up under the SD Card is a list of files that appear to be the operating files (if that makes sense). Examples include: overlays (folder), COPYING.linux, LICENSE.broadcom, LICENSE.oracle, start.elf, start_cd.elf, etc.
As long as I have the Kernel installed, this is the only thing that comes up for me. I can't see any of the folders or ROMs I installed, just pages and pages of operating files.

EZflash junior files?

hello guys.


I delete "A.gb" in forder named "11"
and the I re-put the exactly same file "A.gb" in the exactly same folder "11"

I see some weird file, "_A.gb" and i see "A.gb" also.
"_A.gb" is not deletable.

Do you know what is it?

I recently got an ez flash omega. I put on the software and it is able to detect that the roms are there, it can play the gameboy and gameboy colour roms fine. The problem arises when I try to play the gameboy advanced games. The games will either not load at all and show a frozen screen or play for a minute or two and then freeze. I'm not sure what the problem is since it plays the other gameboy games fine. One thing to note is the gameboy needs a new battery and won't operate unless...

Does anyone happen to still have it, or at least know where I could find it these days? The download link he posted in this thread seems to have been taken down. Wayback doesn't even have a capture of it and I've yet to find even one mirror link.

I'd message him personally, but he hasn't been active since August of last year so I highly doubt he'd see it.

This is a beta kernel for advanced user testing only. It is not recommended for entry-level users.

A battery exhaustion prompt has been added. You will see it when you enter for the first time. Please ignore it. The next time you see it is when the battery is really depleted or removed.

This version eliminates Chinese support and file sorting, theoretically improves file name and directory compatibility, and improves the speed of file browsing.

Now a folder can contain 7000 files....

Hello,

I recently bough an EZ Flash Omega for the sole purpose of using cheats on Pokemon Emerald.
After loading on the cheats, everything is in Chinese. I have not been able to find and cheat files from EZ Flash Omega that are in English.

Plus, the cheats in the file are not that great. They dont really do what I need them to do.
So, I was wondering if its possible to add either my own .cht file or to add more cheat codes to the game?

I have not seen any tutorial about this online. Is it...

Hey All! First time post here but just wanted to share with everyone a simple web app I put up for converting single-line, decrypted AR codes to the format needed for EZ-Flash Omega cheats. I am the proud owner of a Joey Joebags, and I've been buying some bootleg cartridges for reflashing. My ultimate goal is to be able to flash a Mother 3 cartridge. In case you didn't know, Mother 3's ROM is 32 MB, whereas a majority of GBA cartridges only support 16 MB. So I've been buying carts from different vendors on AliExpress, hoping to come across one that happens to be 32MB. I'm on cartridge number 4 at this point, and no luck yet. I was playing with my week-old ezflash when I accidentally pulled it out without turning the console off. It was running kernel 1.03 (fw 3) and was in the flashcart menu at the time of pull-out.
When re-inserting it into the console, and starting it up, the Nintendo logo shows a black bar instead, as if no cart has been inserted.
I read on the product description that this cart has some sort of recovery mode to prevent firmware update failures. Is there a way to recover from this failure?

I write a simple python script for converting my boy! cht to ez-flash cht.

You can download the my boy! cht from https://gamehacking.org.
Then, simply run `python3 convert.py my-boy.cht > ez-flash.cht`. (You can run it on mingw, msys, wsl or linux)
You can get the ez-flash style cht file.

It will ignore crc check and button processing in original cht, only processing "RAM Write".
And combining items with the same name into one item.

EZ flash omega not working

I got a new ezflash omega and put it into my gba sp, and waited for 5+ hours and nothing booted or anything, so I turned it off and entered safe mode
So I tried to update, it says bad nor id. I tested Psram, it says read S71 ID ERROR!!!! and read S98 ERROR!!!!
Then I even tried the recovery guide, nothing worked
So please, can anybody help me?

Hi - I'm desperately trying to find the software that went with this old G6 Flash cartridge that I own. I can drag and drop .GBA games to the disk space of the cartridge and load the game through the file browser but I can't load games into the Game Flash space without the software (I don't think). This means that my saved games over-ride each other and there is no way to backup the save game. The software I'm looking for is discussed here:
